Finn's mulloway 2

At the end of September, I returned to Werribee River pier in the hope of catching a mulloway.
I used yellow-tail for bait and a small mullet lure on the two rods I brought.

Casting beside the old groynes, Werribee River
The mulloway were taking the yellow-tail off the hook, much to my annoyance. I put another yellow-tail on the hook and cast it out 10m.

 I used these two lures
The mulloway didn't like these lures - no bites. So I packed up my lure rod. Then I heard a clicking sound. It was my bite detector. I went over to reel in the line. I felt a weight on the line and set the hook. Fish on! But when I started reeling it in, the mulloway broke off. Maybe I'll catch one next time.
